Sweating, laughing but never crying
We built a houseful without breaking our backs
Laundry baskets, beds, mattresses, desks and chairs
Soft pillows sitting on a wooden bench
IKEA furnished my friend-built home
I built up a life with an allen wrench
Couch, candles, dressers, a tray and shelves
Helped me to see we could do it ourselves
This is wonderful! Ikea is ode-worthy.
